Most aftermarket starters are set up for both 153 and 168. But the factory style starters will be for one or the other. Sounds like your starter is for the 153 tooth flywheel, go swap it out for a 168 version.

Just wire in a megasquirt 3 with a wideband and larger injectors. That will allow it to live a long happy life.

I know on my old man's 94 blazer he had to replace the 4x4 switch located under the battery. I think he said it used and electric switch to open the vaccum port to engage the axle.

The low z injectors require more amperage to open. So your computer, which doesn't have the proper injector drivers won't be able to open the injectors the proper amount. Thus leaning out your engine due to lack of control, and possibly over amping(heating) your factory drivers and killling...

The one for the renix jeeps is the one in the link I provided. They use the Delphi 56 pin connector to plug into the factory wiring harness, the same as most GM's in those years.

Yeah it works with all the major brand wideband O2 sensors (innovative, aem, plx etc...). After studying the renix computer, I can't see where it talks to the tcu. That is why it has that funky double TPS sensor on the throttle body. The 91 on up chryco jeeps may be different.

Exactly, and the nice part is you don't have to modify your stock wiring harness. So you could always throw your stock ecm back in. I'm really happy with it on my Isuzu trooper, and will definetally be doing it to my Jeep. It is really nice to be able to plug your laptop in and see everything...

I live in Montana and haven't had an issue with ceramic pads. So I wouldn't worry about it. Usually if its that cold the roads are also slick, so breaking won't be that good anyway.

I used the perma dry also, as I was tired of valve cover seepage. About 9 months later and no oil seepage at all. So I would say it's def worth the price.

I threw installed an upgraded bosch pump from carquest a few years ago, and I have never had any problems with it. I'm not sure if walbro makes a drop in replacement for the cherokee, but I have had really good luck with those in my other vehicles.
