Hello XJ’ers, fellow former XJ owner here, now TJ owner. Back when I had my XJ, I attended the 20th anniversary event in Moab, UT in 2003.
I purchased this shirt and have held onto it for 20 years. it’s come to the time to part with it. I’ve got it in the pile for Goodwill but would like to at...
If you want to go that high, i suggest going with a skyjacker, or a rusty's, more money, but well worth it. if 5.5" is enough go with rubicon express. just my .02
well, i just used the shocks that came with the 3" lift, the brake lines never get too tight. IMHO the suspension works awesome for a SA lift. go here for some pics, i can't post attachments on NAXJA.

if all a bb is a coil spacer in the front, and a shackle in the rear, i also have that on my cherokee with a 3" lift. total lift ended being about 4.5". I have a 3" pro-comp w adjustable track bar, and aal in the rear. I have a 1 1/2" Daystar spacer in the front, and a 1 3/4" warrior shackle...
i have drove on 33" and 3.55 for 3 years and no problems here, imho it shouldnt put any more pressure on the tranny than pulling a trailer around. IIRC Jeep never put a limit on how much you can pull something.
I don't know if that is exactly the direction you were headed when you were...
ya it wont SOMETIMES downshift to first when it is supposed to. Sometimes it will shift sometimes it wont.
Like it shifts to second like it does when it is in drive. It is just different than what I am used to, I don't know if it is a problem or not.
I wonder if it something like pulling a...
I have a 95 XJ and i can be going in any gear above 1st and I pull the shifter to the 1-2 gear position, and begin to slow down. when i get to 25 where it finally shifts down to 1st, sometimes it wont downshift to first where it is supposed to be.
I can also be in 1-2 and taking off and it...
Just got my Super 40 Flowmaster. I like it, it sounds nice and deep same as the 40 series. It also includes the nice flowmaster growl. The interior resonation is quite quiet compared to what you can hear on the outside. I purchased an aftermarket cat from Imco. Well worth the money for the...
Right now I have a Magnaflow Exhaust Cat-back (custom made). My muffler gives a good deep tone without much resonation in the cab. I am putting on a Super 40 Flowmaster.
If you want my old one, we can work out a deal if it interests you.
I am going to look at my schedule, if i can make it down there I could lead Poison Spider, Hell's Revenge, or Gold Bar Rim (even tho not on the list) or fins n things...as long as you don't mind an 18 yr old leading...
I have had 2 sets of M/Ts and I would buy them hands down over the A/T's. They do have a howl but I can only really notice it while the windows are down. When you get them down to 15 psi, you are unstoppable unless you are open. Those M/Ts are well built.
I was in my driveway on thurs checking my o2 sensor, and everything was fine and dandy. I put the checker back on the wires and I think that I probed two wires at once, and all of a sudden the engine shut off. Everything would work, it would even turn over but not start.
So I had my dad...
