    Drivers side door completely off.

That's right. It is not even connected to the vehicle. The nightmare started a few days ago when I opened the door (drivers side) and it dropped a little bit. So I just said "Oh, it'll need new hinge pins within a few months from now." Oh gawd was I wrong. Upon filling up at the local gas...

    Can the IAC Cause Stalling?

*Raises Hand* While we are on the general subject, How would you or anyone go about a cleaning on this? Also, how to reroute the less than spectacular ground wire on a faulty TPS would be helpful. Renix XJ's are a total nightmare.

    Brake problems in 88 XJ.

So, it's been a few days and here is what I uncovered... Opened up the brake fluid reservoir, to find that the smaller section (Rear brakes?) was pretty much bone dry. Checked thoroughly for leaks and can't seem to find any, which is to imply that it's probably internal. A lot of research...

I mean, I can live with this, for now...I mean, the resistance hasn't gotten worse to be honest (I usually just pump it and it works fine the rest of the drive like you said.) But it does not mean that I'm going to ignore it when it worsens...

    Brake problems in 88 XJ.

So, I have a 88' Pioneer I6, 4x4, 5 speed manual, with no ABS on it. Lately, I've been noticing my brake light on my idiot cluster coming on...Usually it means no brake pressure? At least thats what happened in my old 93 Sport I had when a brake line pop like a zit. So, In the 88 pioneer, the...

The RenX Files: High idle problems

I may be reviving a slightly dead thread, but this one is so darn helpful I have a 88' Pioneer 5 speed 4.0, was having this high idle problem since I bought it (About 3 months) and I found this beast of a thread. I checked my TPS, and sure enough, there was a big hunk of carbon or something on...
