Vegas body and paint shop rec's

Anyone in the vegas area have any recommendations for a good body/paint shop? My skill set does not include bondo and dentist repair. Want to put on a good vegas proof paint job as well. Thanks for any tips.

    Mig welder suggestions

Hi guys, Looking to buy my first home welder. Hoping to not drop a ton of cash on it. What would you all recomend for power and features. If there are specific models you love I'd love to hear about it. I want a unit strong enough to do frame welding and other medium level welding tasks. I'm...

Vibration at idle after some exhaust and engine mounts

New tranny mount and harmonic balancer in finally. My God that pulley retaining bolt was such an incredible bitch to get out. At one point I think I came up with all new curses for the English language. New balancer really helped the vibration problem a lot. There is still some vibration at...

Vibration at idle after some exhaust and engine mounts

How did the new tranny mount work out? I ran out of light today and didn't get mine done. Smoother?

Vibration at idle after some exhaust and engine mounts

It seems to be a combination of a dying a/c clutch and a rock hard harmonic dampener. I'm pulling both off today and we will see how it goes. The a/c clutch engages in the 2000 whenever any fan or heat/cold is engaged. There is a little vibration at idle with it off and the engine is cold, but...

Vibration at idle after some exhaust and engine mounts

Found the dam vibration. It was the a/c unit's clutch quitting! I cannot believe I spent so much frigging time digging around for it to be something that simple. I'm going to yank it off as soon as I can get the coolant dumped. Hopefully, this will be the end of the idle vibrations.

CSF 3 Row Radiator the best way to go?

Thanks! It's such a simple cheap fix that I can't help but give it a try. I'll let you know how it works.

CSF 3 Row Radiator the best way to go?

When you found the leak around the donut: was there obvious air leaking out around the joint? Or you just changed it and the heating issues went away?

CSF 3 Row Radiator the best way to go?

Thanks for that. I'll take a look this week.

CSF 3 Row Radiator the best way to go?

I run my 00' in vegas. After upgrading to a full Banks exhaust from headers on back I immediately started having heat issues in the summer. With great power comes great heat I guess... So when in and started upgrading the full cooling system. Added a CSF 3 core, high flow water pump, high flow...

Vibration at idle after some exhaust and engine mounts

I haven't been able to work on it yet over the holiday season. Been busy running around with family stuff. There may be something to the "rubber break in" idea. When the vib first started it happens all the time at idle in drive or reverse. Now as the engine warms up it only seems to happen when...

    Steering clarifications please.

This is a great discussion. So now I'm thinking I'm going to go with the serious offroad steering upgrade kit. I can stay away from the heims style setup and for now hook it up utk. And I wont have to mess with the track bar yet. Then when I go bigger I can flip it over to OTK when I cut off the...

Vibration at idle after some exhaust and engine mounts

I think they called for 7lbs. I'll look it up. I know it wasn't much. Basically the same on these mores, just enough to to squeeze the rubber a little.

Vibration at idle after some exhaust and engine mounts

Thanks guys. I'll order a tranny mount this week. I've never done one of those before, better hit YouTube up over the next couple days. I'm planning on having her apart this weekend for a steering upgrade anyway. Might as well take care of it all at the same time. I'll give that "power train...
