Thank you! Yes I did put a 93 flex plate and sensor in it. I think you are right the distributor is still off a little! I reset it again and it got better. Should the rotor be between the 1 and 5 or right on the 1? I checked the timing gear again but it lines up perfectly accept for the check...
Help! I have a 93 XJ AW4 4x4 and got with a 97 block and head already in place! I can not get this thing timed! Is it that the cam is wrong for the computer? Or is it that the timing set up in the manual is wrong? Some books say to line the marks up another says to count the pins between the...
Look at XJDB.com and near the end of the XJ pages there is a XJ on unimogs. We are getting some axles in around $2500 for the pair with the pinion conversions. Unimogs are not expensive, look on ebay you can find them in good shape for around $6000. You can get them from Germany for about...
OK OK I might just go for the long arm, Jeee Wizzz, then I can get a stereo too and comfy seats. The long arm sounds like I might have to go fo it, but I thought we are four wheeling here not building cruisers.
I just did the search again and read alot of the articles but they still do not state how much stiffer the RC springs are to the other brands. I don't want a 4.5" lift, I have had many lifted XJ's and MJ's. I want to run around 6" of lift, so I can fit 37" later, can't do that on 4.5". Thanks...
Done the search and could find almost nothing for rough country never mind the 6.5" kit. Is it too stiff? I don't mind the short arm, in fact I don't want a long arm kit yet. It looks like a great kit for the money, and to get me moving. I would rather cut on the lift and use the money on...
I was thinking of getting this kit so I did a search and could not find anything. What do you guys think about the three link it seem to me there would be alot more stress on that one upper link.
Isn't a snorkel meant for water crossings? It seems to me that the people at land rover during there camel trophy days ran them, they needed them too seen some of them with water about half way up the windshield. If you need them they are good, but they cut down on performance, just think on how...
Rough country has a suspension kit called the X Factor 6.5" lift kit all the parts for $995 If you can't afford that then think about leaf springs because to get a 6" lift out of the front and have it safe you need to either spend at least that much or fab alot yourself which in the end will...
