    OEM Skid Plate Removal

I can recommend a rear nutstrip that doesn't use nutserts.

What will ya take for the overhead console? Also, windshield washer tank and hoses?

    Shocks

I've liked the OME kit on mine. It was stock before the kit. Get the lighter load rears unless you plan for rear bumper, full-size tire, gear hauling. It's been on my 01 for 5 years now. Not a single issue and I've not noticed any sag or degradation of ride quality or load capability. Downside...

    Black headliner installed

They are linked from Imgur. I don't know how to make the, smaller. I posted the same links on another forum and they are no where near this big.

    Black headliner installed

Finished up the headliner install today. 5 years sagging.. no more! Did the whole thing alone, zero helpers other than a snow brush.

    What do you think. 2001XJ

The grammar in the ad alone would make me run for the hills.

Craftsman 19.2-Volt Cordless 1/2" Impact Wrench 90 Bux

I read it over many times and it seemed like he was selling one he had. Thanks for clarifying.

Craftsman 19.2-Volt Cordless 1/2" Impact Wrench 90 Bux

What am I missing here? I don't see where I'm saving $50 by paying $90 for a product listed for $89.88.

RC 3" Lift - Sagging Leafs? Need opinions on where to go from here.

Yes, OME makes two variants for our XJs. Med and heavy duty. The light duty was discontinued. Since you said price isn't a concern, I can highly recommend the OME-XJ3 kit from jeepinoutfitters. Probably the best $1400 you could ever spend on your suspension. You'll get a tad over three...

    84-96 OEM Tire Carrier

I went a different direction. Turns out, if you're willing to smosh one of your ceiling speaker pods a tad, a 31x10.5 15 on a stock Ecco alloy fits inside and with the factory hardware.

    84-96 OEM Tire Carrier

Thanks for finding that. I didn't realize hatch drilling was required. All the rear carriers I've looked at so far haven't required it. That is a new variable. Another variable is, now that I see how it mounts to the bumper, I'll not be able to use it once I get an aftermarket rear...

    84-96 OEM Tire Carrier

That's a good boost for sure. Do you by chance recall what you did to make it work on your newer style xj? I need to find out what's involved with the retrofit. Since I don't plan on going beyond 31s this could work perfectly for my 2001.

What have I gotten myself into?

I got the OME-XJ3 kit from jeepinoutfitters and checked every option box for the kit. So OME springs and leafs, rubicon express sway bar discos, track bar, brake hose extensions and LCAs and trans case drop and 31s. 15k miles later I'm still very happy with the kit. I like the way it handles...
