    Gear selection

    I just regeared to 4:10 with 32’s. Somewhat disappointed. 4:56 would have been better. I say “ When in doubt, go with lower gears”.

    new to jeeps/fresh rebuild question

    Replace the head with a tupy or reinforced 0331 head. Mine went at 215,000 m. Pay a little now or a lot later.

    Hello. My 2001 Cherokee motor is getting a complete rebuild after suffering a cracked head at 215,000 miles. Regarding the harmonic balancer, what is the wisest plan of action, buy a new one or sleeve original? Thx
