I have a 91 XJ 4.0 AW4 181K and going but, I have a situation that's driving me insane. So...it runs amazing after the assembly but when I drive and coming to a stop like a red light, it starts to bog down to like 250rpms...almost cuts off. Hell, it actually cut off a couple times this week...
I have a 91 XJ/4.0. When driving, it drives and shifts normal but when I come to a stop or begin to slow down, the RPM start to decrease alot. Even gets to the point to where it actually dies slowing down or when I stop. I'm not sure what it is but im guessing vacuum line but not sure where to...

So, I had a compression test done on my 91 XJ after an engine rebuild, the results were (cyl 1-6) 50, 20, 25, 20, 75, 110. Everything was tightened to spec, new head and valve cover gaskets but I did reuse my head bolts. What can be problem(s)?
So I just finished the rebuild and install of my "new to me" engine. Everything is back in place. It turns over perfectly fine but it won't fire at all. It's getting fuel, and spark and I believe it to be in time...can you Jeep veterans assist me with this dilemma....anything will help.
