I'll pull the cable out of the Jeep and take a closer look. There does seem to be a whole mess of plastic nonsense where it mounts on the tranny.

I don't have a cover on mine. It's clearly in the gates as Park-tranny is in reverse, R-tranny is in neutral and so forth. That's why I pulled the shifter arm off the tranny shift knob to confirm it was off a click.

ok, I'l double check it, but I didn't see how it could be adjusted. There isn't a jam nut or threaded end or anything similiar. How could the cable have suddenly become so out of adjustment anyhow? I did relocate the shifter, but it was fine for over a year before this happened.

The ASD relay energized as did the fuel pump relay. I have the schematics and figured at least something out. I now have 12V from the relay to the pump, but no ground. The PCM closes a common ground. I ran my own ground to bypass the PCM and it runs like a champ. I'm not sure why the...

Would this cause the fuel pump to not receive 12V? The camshaft positioning sensor looks fine, no wires chafed, ect ect. I'll pull the plug apart and test for what 5V's it puts out, just for to know I suppose.

Replaced the CPS and no change. The old sensor's magnetism was also significantly stronger than the new sensor. Not sure if that's important or not.

I tested for VAC on pin B and C and came to 0 volts. The camshaft positioning sensor looks good. It's tight and the wires are good. I peeled back the wire loom to take a look at any potential chafe points and there's nothing. I'm leaning towards the CPS. Anyone have any other ideas...
