Dont look for the fuel pressure regulator anywhere on the fuel rail.It,s in the tank on the pump assembly.Not all XJs have the same fuel system.

Can you hear the fuel pump run when you turn the key on.Just on, not to start. If not then my guess is that the pump is dead.

That black box is the ASD relay terminal per the FSM.

On my 98 small Jeep the spot weld that held the threaded portion to the pan failed. New pan was the quick way to fix the problem.

I purchased a WIX filter base #24019 and a WIX filter #4070.Both from NAPA .Several years ago......have not installed yet.:cool:

On my 98 its usually the connection on the sensor is corroded. un-plug>plug back up good to go.
