    High temp woes

Ya I wish I knew this about the radiators. Would have saved myself a ton of time and money chasing this fiasco. Ya the efan has a broken ground. Thanks man!

    High temp woes

Just give the system a good cleaning before replacing, the ascorbic acid worked phenomenally.... The champion bc1193 seems to be a great radiator as well, I was going to head in that direction but decided to try the spectra as it's so much cheaper. Definitely stay away from mishi, I don't know...

    High temp woes

Final update on this. I'm now running perfect temps. Did a better job purging air out of the radiator and installed a air bleed screw into my coolant filter housing. Also ended up fixing the efan. Outside temps today were in the 90's Street driving I'm around 200 Highway around 210-212 AC...

I also cut open my original damaged and clogged mishimoto radiator and the cores they use are separated into multiple small passages. https://photos.app.goo.gl/vFCmTVNPwBhnBu6Y9

    High temp woes

Just an update in case this comes up in a future search for others... Ended up replacing the radiator with a cheap spectra brand. World's of improvement. Takes longer to heat up and stays below 220 on the hwy. Still creeps a degree or two every 5 seconds at idle though... I turned on the AC...

    XJ radiators, a review.

Yup, I ended up ordering the spectra to see how it goes. Thanks for the info on the csf. Will try the champion if things don't go well with the spectra

    XJ radiators, a review.

Issue with a coolant filter is it can't handle the volume being directly plumbed to the system and by attaching it as a bypass, sediment does go through to the radiator... I ran mine both ways, even enlarged the outlet hole inside the filter slightly. My heater stayed too cool to help dissipate...

    XJ radiators, a review.

Hey guys, just found this thread and read though all the posts. Been dealing with a very frustrating overheating issue that I'm at wits end with. I'm using a mishimoto performance radiator (new) and decided to chop open my old mishimoto one that was bent to shit. While the cores are long...

    High temp woes

Ya I thought was the case initially and replaced the mini cats as my previous engine guzzled up oil... Made a difference but still dealing with the overheating... Thank you though!! I'm waiting on the ac high pressure switch to arrive to see if it'll fix the electric fan issue... Then gonna...

    High temp woes

I've got continuity between relay connector 87 and the plug for the efan I've also got continuity between relay connector 85 and C2 in the pcm connector

    High temp woes

Just found out my efan isn't turning on... Won't turn on idling with the ac. I disconnected the coolant temp sensor and it still didn't kick it on after 20seconds. Fuses are all good, had a spare relay and replaced it, still no dice... Took the power probe out and gave relay plug 87 some...

    High temp woes

I know man, I'm honestly clue less. It's heavy but the stroker should be able to handle the extra weight. The fan is a new napa one. Nothing leaking out of it and I'm able to stop it on a cold engine with a rolled up news paper and the paper gets shredded when the motors hot.

    High temp woes

I think this is my next option... Unfortunately, I'm not talented enough to play with these numbers. Can I PM you for some guidance? Also, I'm wondering if throwing it on a Dyno is the ideal way to get things squared away with tuning... Does anyone know a Dyno shop in northern Cali that can...

I've got the mishimoto performance rad, which should be the same thing Tstat works. Tested with water on the stove
