The Yaesu FT-8800 is a great radio. You will be happy with that.
I've been able to run my CB and ham antennas pretty close to each other. I actually had them on mag mounts at first and had to move them further apart because they were swinging into each other...

I tow a 2200 lb. camper with my 2001 XJ. 31" tires with 4.10 gears. Pulls fine until I hit an incline and then starts to get hot. When it goes, it is instantly from 210-215 range to maxed out on the gauge. Pull over and it instantly cools back down...

I found Absolute Offroad had them in stock for a fair price. If anyone else needs the 32 or 34 tooth gears, let me know.
I'm looking for a 37 tooth short shaft gear. I can offer up as trade a 30, 32, or 34 tooth gears or a reasonable amount of cash. Last time I did a swap, new ones were about $15-20 and I'm finding prices now are closer to $80. Yikes.

Are you able to get the wand of a power washer in there? That's how I cleaned mine. I unscrewed it from the engine compartment and shot the power washer into there until cleaned out.
