Would late model XJ 297 joint shafts work in my 86' vaccuum disconnected D30? I also have a powertrax no-slip if that makes a difference... thanks

I had a D35 from my 1986 XJ.... I have replaced it with a D44... But I still have the shafts. My question is would the shafts work in a 94' ZJ D35? Basically I have no idea if they are c-clip or not ( I don't think they are)

My bud and I just went and looked at a 1990 XJ with 4.0, automatic, 4WD. It went into 4HI just fine, but while trying to put it into 4LO it grinds like a SOB, and shakes the jeep alittle.... Any ideas what is wrong? Also, they said it used to be towed behind a motorhome, so that might be a...
