I second the 2-jaw puller, but leave the castle nut threaded on a little bit as you tighten the puller.. THere's a lot of force that lets go when that pressed in nut breaks loose. You could end up digging that end of your stabilizer out of your oil pan...

Hey Fellas, I'm replacing the shocks and all the broken shock bolts on my 2000, and I'm wondering what I should replace the stock bolts with. Any thoughts? Any particular grade, maybe stainless, or just whatever from the local hardware? Thoughts or ideas from experience welcome... Thanks!

Thanks guys! My replacement doesn't have a hole for a cotter pin, however, it does have a lock washer to go on under the nut! I was just curious about the torque specs for that bole. Good n' tight sounds good to me. Thanks again.
