Our old 94 XJ had the 242 and it was difinatly nice to have in the typical winter driving conditions. We also did a Tom Woods SYE and driveshaft combo on it since it had 4" lift on it. I am not worried about SYE issues with eithere the 231 or the 242 as I have done both, the 231 is cheaper...
So XJ people, what should I look for? Looking at a 2000 model with an auto tranny and not looking at going larger then 31's. It is time to get a family friendly rig.

If I need XJ info, this is the first place I go... other then that I hit up CO4x4. I have been less active with the site in the past 6 months but I still check it daily. I have only ever made it to one M&G but I use it for the staging area and for the 4-sale section a lot. Bought and sold...
Replacing the Power steering Box?
Has anybody done this yet? Looking for install sudgestions, things to look out for and if anybody has done a write up I would appeciate a link to it. Thank you.

My team for the ruck is not a compedative team. We are just doing it to do it. Oxygen would be nice though. :) Jeff = weenie :O
Griffen the 6 mile Ruck Run is next weekend. If you are going, let me know so we don't leave without you. We are meeting at the Flying J at the I-25/college exit at 8:15 that Saturday morning to head down.
