Moving back to KS, who's out there?

I'm in ICT. Tuttle is always a nice drive since you can pick either Highway or the Country Highways to take the scenic route. KS rocks is nice too, especially with all the picnic areas they have. BUT check their website before you head out there because they close the park for some private...

    why vibes why!!!!!!

If it started when you put the lift on, have you checked the axles to make sure they are centered? If not then a set of adjustable track bars might take care of it. After the adjustment you should be able to tell, but then need to get it aligned if the front was off too.

looking for jeep guys in my area

I think the group I go with finalized the details on the two upcoming trips. March 24-25 to Tuttle, from another forum i'm on THAT is the weekend to go. Sounds like alot of people will be there. Then April 21-22 to KS Rocks for my B-day. I'll probably have my White TJ for the trip so if you...

Teraflex SYE - extreme short shaft?

Looks like everything I got in the box for my Advance Adapters SYE. What year is it going into? I put it into an 03 TJ so I think the speedo sensor is different, but it still had the 231. Looks like Rockcrawler.com did a writeup of the ESS a few years ago. You might check out the picture if...

    rough coutry adj. control arms?

I just put some JKS on my TJ. Probably paid for the label some, but they felt pretty sturdy.

Rear window fluid squirts directly on the guy behind me. How do I fix the ruber hose?

Mine did that too, but I was lucky enough that the plastic piece didn't break off. I think the end of the hose just got old so I trimmed the end off and put it back on. Worked like a charm.

    Keep or Sell?

Just booked it out in the business guide I have $2350 (Retail) 1150 (loan/wholesale). Depending on what you actually find when you get home for Spring Break I wouldn't make any final decisions. If the Clutch is slipping it might just need replacing. First Car I drove was a Toyota P/u with a 4...

    XJ Part-out

I needed to get some new ones and they were $15, I think. Had them in stock for the '90 I have. It was worth it to not get KO'd every time I got something out of the back. Real easy to install too.

looking for jeep guys in my area

I'm in Wichita. Towards the end of April is my B-day and the group I'm going with is heading out to KS Rocks. We haven't been there before, but usually go to Tuttle (near Manhattan). Send me a PM if you want me to keep you up to date on the trip, we can exchange emails and I can give you the...

    Clutch Filled With Mud

When you are cleaning it out once you get it home make sure you get the debris out too. I was playing in a puddle and it had a little gravel in it. It took a while with the power sprayer before the clutch felt like it engaged properly. It was in my TJ with a 231 so the bellhousing might be a...

What's the correct tire inflation for 31x10.5 ?

I run 31 BFG Ta/ko's at 33-35 on the street/highway. If I wheel I usaully take them down to about 13-14. I tried less one trip and bent a wheel pretty good. I hadn't heard the Crayon trick before, I'll have to try that.

    07

A group I wheel with was thinking about coming out to Ouray in '08. Is Coloradofest usually the same time each year? We were trying to plan it this far in advance so everyone can take off work and stuff like that. From Wichita it's almost 800 miles.

Can someone ID these missing bolts???

If that isn't the right size post up a pic or I can get with you for more details (sometimes I'm slow). I was planning on taking the valve cover and some other things off to clean things up. I'd be happy to look at those too.

    Walmart only mounts stock-sized tires

I got 31x15 BFG Ta/ko's from Sam's with the road hazard for about $120 each installed. While I was watching them mount them I was talking with the guy and most of the corporate places in town won't touch tires they don't sell. If you're in a real bind you might try looking on a place like...
