    Lift kit's ?

1500 for a skycrapper? dang, lol. jk that's steep and haven't heard more good than bad about that company but haven't tried them either, so money alone woud scare me on just a 3in. I don't see why you can't get one for under 600 or less and buy the other arms seperate. I would becareful on ebay...

    What shocks are the best?

Ditto on Langer1's comment, I recently threw some cheap, (budget) monroe's on the wife's 2wd and they do the job being as she's always on road and needs cornering and braking style shocks. I like Rancho, but have Rusty's Hydros on my 4wd with a 3in lift and I went from Gabriel air shocks to...

    Replacing one rotor

Hey sarge where at in NC? I am a firm believer in the replace in pairs thing especially on brakes as these guys say but depending on how new that other rotor is might help you decide as well as budget. Sounds definitely like a cupping or feathering issue on the tire though. She possibly knocked...

    Using Oil, Any Suggestions?

My 91 with 300k uses about a quart tween changes dunno how that equates to a liter though? They are known to leak especially the rear main so unless your spewing out the back and it's all over your rear window, maybe just keep an eye on it and a few quarts in the back for long trips? Also I used...

What TIRES will fit? 97 XJ

Check the backspacing on those. Not sure if they changed any from 90 to 97? But as for that tire size, yeah no issues good luck.

    Control arm bolt question

Not sure about years but my '92 just had upper axle side bushings put it and I think my mech used a torx head and a 15mm wrench to loosen and tighten them. I'm not sure on the torque settings, he just tighten them till stop but they seem to be doing fine. As long as the diameter part that goes...

    Running just above 210 normal?

Got a '91 with 300k and it has always ran 210 or more in heat. I have a HD 3row rad and fairly new waterpump, thermostat 180, I think, and new hoses with no issues. As long as the efan is kickin in I would watch it but not sweat it, typical especially under load. The 4.0 is a solid block, have...

    POOR RUNNING, YET, NO CODES

Must be nice to have it fixed. lol. Similar issue and no solution still. Mine didn't just start of a sudden though, put on a high flow cat and flowmaster exhaust. Afterwards ran like crap, bought adj map sensor as many thought I needed to recurve my fuel or adjust the voltage to the map sensor...

Anybody running Bridgestone Dueler AT 693 tires?

The 684's are a decent tire for the $ but there are better out there in an all season tire. Be careful about the revo's, yeah badass tire but a little pricey and they have cupping issues if you don't keep them up...i.e. balanced, properly aired and rotated. HTH

    New Kumho

Hey. I believe this size was an afterthought on this model for kumho to try to grab some of us jeepers in the 31in size. The first ones out were in 20 and 22in and I have put a few sets on some fullsize trucks. 20's on a F-250 and 22's on a pair of chevy 1500's. The wheel/tire package looked sic...

What sensors affect fuel flow on start-up?

Shouldn't have an issue with it running properly after a new starter install, hmmm. Maybe you have the belt loose or not on correctly? After you try what Dino suggests try all your sensors, IAC, TPS, and MAP or MAT whichever yours has. I had a similar issue after installing a high-flow cat and...

    Brake issues

Pads or adjustments? Umm new brake lines and or bleed it all out and throw some fresh fluid in? Other than the master you got me. Good luck.
