Oh yea...your temp never gets below 185...of course not...it can't with that 185 thermostat...a 3 row radiator...NICE but not CHEAP! My hood ventalation system cost me nothing but labor...got the spacer material out of the scrap pile! :laugh:

Boy, it would be a shame to wear out or even worst loose control and crash your XJ...I'm with Vanquish on that one...go get a Duramax or Powerstroke...save the XJ for the off-roads!

You are correct to a certain degree, but keep in mind, It doen't run 160 degrees all the time, plus the 91 year model has an easier computer to work with...not that I've had any problems such as running in open loop or too fat on the fuel. We ride around all the time in 4wd, so you ARE'NT going...

Heck, it's a six banger...I couldn't tell any difference in performance! The A/C seemed to be a little colder...it will freeze your @$$ off!:cheers:

Well...here at HEDMAN HEDDERS RACE DIVISION in Atlanta, we test...not guess. I do have a 160 degree thermostat and a manual override switch so that I can run my fan when needed. This past weekend at WINDROCK mountain in Tennessee, we put it to the test. With the A/C on, in 4 wheel low, hauling 4...

I put a 160 degree thermostat in mine...it helped alot! I'm thinking about spacing the hood up also for cooler underhood temps.

Has anybody ever tried spacing the hood hinges up maybe an inch, creating an air gap for engine compartment ventilation?

Tags, insurance,:roflmao: Heck, just don't get caught with a cooler full of cold ones...they do stop and look in your coolers...it use to be a fine of $50 a can...including the empty ones!
