Im in the process of trying to remove the u-joints out of the rear driveshaft on my '89 XJ. I got the snap rings out, and have been trying to hammer the ujoint cap out of the yoke, but it wont budge. Any ideas?

You are right, this would be a great learning experience. I read something in my haynes manual saying that you need to mark the driveshaft yoke with the pinion yoke and make sure the marks line up when you put it back on to preserve driveline angles and such, but I'm not really sure what they...

What about the EGR? The HO doenst have an EGR, can the renix system runm without it? Also would it be beneficial to swap out the intake manifold with the 91+? Would it just bolt up to it? What kind of exhaust and intake systems do the other renix people on here have????
