My friend and I used his 96 XJ AW4 that has over 270,XXX miles on it, a trans cooler, 32" tires, and stock gears to tow my (newly purchased) 89 Comanche from NJ all the way back to Pittsburgh. It did so flawlessly. Towing something that small, you should be fine.
Where do you get the tubing to change it over to stainless lines? I assume you bent them yourself with something similar to a brake line bender? And what kind of hose did you use to replace those heater lines? Thanks!
I said "some" not all. There other hitches they had that mount differently and only work on one or the other. There was a whole thread about it on here.
I have a chance to pick up a 1989 Comanche with, 4.0, 5 speed, and 4wd for a good price.
I've only recently started learning to drive a stick using peoples cars at the shop I work at. :shhh:
So I'm wondering, how hard are these to learn on?
I do hear the AX-15 is a pretty easy one to use.
