Well, that shows how observant I am. The fuse slot that didn't have both terminals in mine was for an ABS system that I don't have. So now I have put another 60A fuse back in the actual alt2 slot. I guess I got lucky to not blow a fuse with only half capacity! I guess with both fuses and clean...

I need to look closer at this! My alt2 fuse didn't have voltage on it, and didn't have a terminal for both prongs on the fuse. I've driven the jeep about 200 miles since I got it to stop blowing fuses, with heat, radio, headlights, and wipers on. I didn't even put a fuse back in the alt2 slot...

My 91 has both fuses, even labled the same, but the 2nd one is just a spare on mine and not connected to anything.

I ended up cleaning all of my under-hood grounds, as well as every large positive connection, and thoroughly cleaned my battery terminals, even though those looked ok. Before doing this, I checked resistance between the negative battery terminal and the engine block, and it was like 690 M ohm...

I got the exhaust fixed on my XJ, by replacing the header gasket, and adding a muffler and tailpipe. It sounds so much better! I may actually fix the radio, now that I could actually hear it! I also fixed a couple of oil leaks, and Herculinered the whole thing. The crappy rolled on paint job...

Been laid off from work for 2 weeks now. Got tons of projects done, and been taking my kid out jeepin for a couple of hours every day. I guess this is the closest thing to retirement I'll ever see, so I might as well take advantage!

Not that I could find, they only have the electric ones. I found some on Ebay at a decent price, but have been notified by my wife not to spend any money, as I've been temporarily laid off from work, so money will be tight for a bit. Maybe I'll work on making the doors removable instead, lol

Does anybody know where to get manual window regulators for an xj? I think they're the same for 2 or 4 door, but the ones on my trail pig are pretty shot. I dont mind used, as long as they are good, but I don't think I'll get any junkyard time for a while..
