Audio question for techs out there

I guess I forgot to mention that is is an 89. So how do I fully test the wiring? Voltmeter? If so what kind of numbers should I expect if the wire is still good.

Audio question for techs out there

I played with the EQ and right now I'm running it with my bass down as low as possible and its still doing it. I will check the stock wiring for cracks and replace where necessary. Once I get my sub and amp all together I will be replacing all the wiring. But another question...what would be...

Audio question for techs out there

So I recently (yesterday) installed brand new speakers because my old ones up front were crackling. Well my problem still exists, but only at slightly higher volume. I didn't install the best quality speakers because I'm poor, but they still crackle with the volume just to cover road noise. I...

    BB lift

As for the track bar, lca's and end links I could just pick them up seperately from a kit. I'm guessing adjustable parts would be best in case I want to go bigger? I have aftermarket lca's from procomp already for a 3", would I have to go bigger for the extra 1.5"?

    BB lift

So I currently have a 3" suspension lift in my 89 2 door. I want to give it a little more lift so I can put bigger shoes on it, I was thinking about doing a 1.5 coil spacer and a 1.25 shackle, which would fix my pinion angle because it's currently a little too low correct? I am collecting parts...

    Homebrew 3103-27CV SYE Details

I would prefer to get from a local shop vs. ordering online. But if I can't find something that will work I have no other option.

    Homebrew 3103-27CV SYE Details

I have a pre 96' 242 and I am gathering parts for this install, and I am having a very hard time finding the proper yoke. My local driveline shop has something similar in stock and I was wondering if it would also work. It's a GM end yoke so it would already have the hole for the bolt, and it...

    outer axle shafts

Alright so then I will just replace the u-joints. I did all my driveshaft u-joints recently, should have done those at the same time...

    outer axle shafts

So I am planning on replacing both my front hubs and want to do something with the outer axle shafts. What would be the easiest thing to do? They don't have any noticable wear, but I want to maybe rebuild them, or just replace the u-joints on them. Should I just replace them, or put in the new...

    Hi-lift jack points

I completely forgot about the winching feature on the jack...it would come in handy if I get stuck before I get a winch

    Hi-lift jack points

Yes I have a tow hitch, but what about the front? I already did a day of wheelin and luckily no flats or breakage so I didn't need it but I bring it along all the time in case.

    Hi-lift jack points

It was on sale locally so I picked it up...so without a tire attachment no lift point exists? Dang

    Hi-lift jack points

I bought a hi-lift jack for use offroad for when I have new bumpers and sliders, but I was wondering on a stock XJ body if there are any points to lift from with a hi-lift?
