been there done that, replaced the cps and still had problems. thought the fuel pump was goin out,replaced it. turns out it was the stupid ground wire on the sending unit of the fuel tank. my 96 still has steel tank and where the wire attaches to the tank was rusted to the point that it wouldn't...
one of the local parts stores had some kits for hooking up aftermarket coolers that eliminated the press on fitting at the radiator.you then use rubber tranny line and a new compression fitting on the old steel line, cutting out the factory rubber and horrible crimp fitting.
ok 96 xj i6 auto. been running fine. left for work in morning sputterd and died. pulled it home drove other xj. got home and the 96 started just fine,drove it for an hour nothing wrong. tried to drive it next morning died in almost same spot. pulled it home ,no luck on restart that night...
thanks scorpio thats what i wanted to hear. i know the pcm is the regulator for it so i wont screw that up. and i had both alts checked at advice of someone else BIG WASTE OF TIME AND CURSE WORDS...
tried searching but no deffinate answer. what happens if you remove the black box on the alternator and wire directly to the pins. both my xjs have to be "tapped" in order for the alternator to kick in and charge. one is a 93 the other is a 96. starting to get po'ed but i dont want to fry...
i let the vac run till it went to 30 then closed the system down and it slowly went from 30 to 25 it took about 25 to 30 mins to drop but never went below 25. when i put the 134a in it started leaking immediatly. the sniffer locacted it in the inside pass compartment.
ac on a 01 xj will hold a 25 30 pound of vac but wont hold a pressure to allow to cool. it is leaking inside pass compartment. is there a conn. that would allow to leak,,, o-ring or somthing similar wifes jeep please help.

i need the measurement of the upper control arm of a tnt set up. something like center of bolt at axle to the end of the tube at threads, and one over-all length. making my own long arm like tnts but slightly different. thanks to all for responding.
so im not just crazy. was beginning to think i was the only one this happened to. im gonna get one from a dodge i believe it has 136 amps that will help with winch lights stereo and so on.
