yes, however if I pulled the a/c comp relay the fan would then turn back on. When I plugged the relay back in the fan would cut back off.
So with hvac set to max a/c and the broken lp switch the electric fan would cycle on and off with the compressor. if I unplugged the comp relay the elec...
ok problem solved. Looks like both my switches were bad. After replacing the HP switch and then jumpering the LP switch it now comes on and blows cold. Who would have figured both were bad!
Next question is does our system have a Schrader valve on the LP switch(like the HP) or will it open...
Its a 99. I'll check the fan when I get back intown Sunday. So when I jumper the LP switch it should turn on immediately? Didn't think to check the relay since it does kick on and off, you thinking the relay is 'popping'?
Is there an easy way to get to the fin sensor or do I have to do the...
Did the usual add 134 and it was low, got up to ~40psi and the clutch started to engage and disengage 1-2 seconds at a time for 4 rotations then would never cycle on again. Figured it was the pressure switch, so few days later installed the new pressure switch, checked low side pressure again...
dirtbound one is about half the price on amazon right now. It would certainly be cheaper to fab up your own, but for $40 its really not worth the hassle imho. I'll be grabbing the dirtbound one today. Been meaning to fix mine, but wanted to wait for winter to be over so I could swap to my...

the great thing about doing it yourself is you can do it however you want. If you get some of the newer memory open cell foam you can run aircooled seats!
For a basic job though I'd run higher density if you are a bigger guy. Stock stuff was a tad on the light side. I want to say the...
I went with the Dynamax Turbo catback mainly due to the price($150 on Amazon) and the fact it took care of the rusted out stock muffler and included the tailpipe. As others pointed out its not worth fighting with the rusted exhaust for the money to just replace it all. I was considering the...
how about the b-pillar weather strip/moulding for the rear doors(its goes on the front edge of the rear doors to 'fill the gap' between the rear edge of the front door and the leading edge of the rear door. I need the driver side, but if both sides are available a spare would be nice.
any good upholstery shop should be able to make you new foam pieces, boat upholstery shops are usually pretty familiar with having to make new foams. Automotive places tend to get lazy and only want to do prefab foam.
Just a note, highly quality seat foam can get really pricey really quick...
