well, right now money is the problem. so, poor man gotta lift that xj cheap and right. i know d30 should be strong cause a lot of explorers uses d30 and d35 for SAS.

cheapxj, why wouldnt the dakota leaf work on the 4 door? uptravel? u mean it would not uptravel or travel up too much?

98xj, why does it matter to u how someone lift their jeep? not everyone got money to throw around, u know?

cheapxj, do u have d30 and d35 front ad rear? also, what 4" lift did u get? did u go 3 1/2 and use spacers? u think if i get 3 1/2 and use 2 inch spacer, would that setup allow the same tire clearence as yours? thanks for the info. i just bought an 87 xj 4 door and am excited to get it going.

hhmm.... that sounds better and cheaper then a 4 or 5 inch lift. do u guys uses any spacers? i was thinking of 5 inch until i say this tread. i am new here too.. and just bought a 87 xj.

how would 3"RE and spacer allow u to fit 33s? i always thought that i need at least a 5.5 to fir 33s. i just got a 87 xj, bone stock
