Hi everyone. I'm looking to build a 4.0 to put into my '00. Its developed a pretty good knocking sound. What would it take to put a '99 or older 4.0 into a '00. In terms of dealing with the distributer vs the coil on plug setup. Do I have to do anything with the PCM?

I would rebuild it to drive down the street. I've built a ton of motors, just never a jeep. If its gonna cost me anywhere near $1500 i'll get a brand new mopar through work and put a motor in with warrenty.
