Read the first half of this year old thread thinking the same thing. Shit drove me crazy for half an hour one day until I realized it was the solenoid on the passenger side.

Can you attach the photo you are talking about? I'm trying to come up with a solution to this area myself and would be willing to try to find the original manufacturer as well.

Heads up on that OBDII sensor, I have that exact one and it had me chasing an intermittent voltage leak for about 3 months. So don't leave it plugged in.

I know, thread necromancy. Heavyopp, did you ever get this thing installed? I'm wondering what it mounts to. Does it just hang on the vacuum ports on the outside? I'd be worried it would just rattle like all hell.

I replaced the CPS with a mopar part. Would a heat failure CPS stop the starter solenoid from firing?

Does anyone have any advice? I'm really struggling to find a good answer to why it would die and then not crank until cool.
