    similar problems I am having a similar problem. I have gotten the castle nut off without much trouble, but now the stud is stuck in the center link. I tried using a gear puller to push it out, with no luck. Does anyone know the the stud is threaded into the center link? The Hyanes manual...

    Has anyone painted the trim on a pre-97 XJ. I know the best paint to use would be one with a plastic base, buy has anyone tried any specific brands, retailers, or techniques? I know prep work is going to be important, but what is the best method for doing it?
