    I have a 97 with a 8.25 4:56 Detroit locked running 35's, I hate the drum brakes. Looking at a Ford 8.8 4:56 Detroit locked with disk brakes for $1000.00. What do you guys think? Should I just put disks on the Chrysler and be done with it? Maybe do tons when I find the right axles?

    I had 8" on 35's when I got mine, I lowered to 6" on the 35's......big difference, much better handling. Mostly rocks around these parts so I'll stay at 6" for the year and then we'll see.

    Update: Problem solved....raised the track bar didn't really notice any change. Played around with the castor and got that all dialed in, running at 7 degrees right now. Installed a V8 heavy duty sway bar off a Grand Cherokee and quik discos, drives like a dream now. 75 down the freeway no...
