Here's the deal: The XJ (99 - 4.0 - AW4) will start, but will not stay running without throttle input. With throttle input it runs smoothly, but RPM's drop as soon as throttle input is removed. No trouble code was triggered. Ideas?

I can verify that. I pulled my ARB Bull Bar from my '93 XJ and mounted it to my '99. No problems, and no tire rubbing issues.

Could be a Throttle Postion Sensor. Please tell us more about the symptoms, ie: what are you doing when you experience this.

I really like how AEV's rear bumper uses the stock end caps: Does anyone else make a rear bumper that uses the same strategy? I do not want a rear tire carrier, just a heavier duty bumper.
