Sorry guys, when I was asking what the B+ relay I meant which relay in the engine bay was it? I've never heard any of the books refer to a B+ relay? Also thanks for all the help and info, I knew some of it from the renix fuel injection book but you're filling in the blanks.

Cool, great info. Can you guys tell me what shorty means by the B+ relay though? I have some other relays I can swap in for the pump relay but like I said it seems to have resolved it self and it primes and starts and runs now. I do want to make sure it's reliable and doesn't mess up again...

Ah, either way, even the original check wasn't within specs, thats why I don't trust the first mech. And of course, just my friends luck, the problem is back but not as bad after a couple days of driving.

? Did I somehow make it sound like there was no pump in it? There was a fuel pump in it, it was driven to his shop. He tested it and said it was a bit low but still good. He was infact wrong and in my opinion doesn't know jeeps as well as he says he does.

If he isn't getting any cold air, then his system probably already sprung a leak and is empty anyway. tkjeeper, when you try to turn the AC on does the clutch on the AC compressor engage? If it does then you still have pressure in your system, if it doesn't then is probably already empty...

Have you looked at how the belt is mounted in a stock XJ with rear shoulder belts? Its mounted much farther back then that is, I'm not sure the belt is going to work as well in that position.

From what I have seen online the 16" steels are worth $70 at canadian tire, not $45. That lower price is for 15"s I think. Maybe next time I'm down on that end I'll check it out in person.
