I think terra flex offers a complete rear disc brake kits for the 8.25 axle. Has proportion valve included. Might as well upgrade the axle shafts when you do it.
RE makes 2 3.5 INCH kits with different rate.springs. I have the softer of the 2 and the ride is very good for daily driving and a bit softer off road. I would recommend it for a DD.
Apply the 3m tape to the emblem and trim it with a good razor knife first. Then use the Isopropyl alchohol and stick it to the surface. Any good auto body supply store will have it or most auto parts stores.
Goodyear duratracs are good on the ice. As a former tire dealer I can tell Goodyears are usually one of the better ice tires due to compound patents Goodyear holds.
Idahoan here and former tire dealer who lives in the part of Idaho where a foot of snow per storm is common. The tire size you selected is actually 3 sizes smaller in heigth from a stock 215\75r15. Plus you need to look at the DOT on the side and see how old they are. Tire compound gets harder...
Looking around at some top mount tents for overlanding. Smittybuilt makes some around $1000 and price goes up from there. Anyone had experience with top tents?
