I dont know if you remember me but I can up there with my friend Ryan whos totalled 97 XJ you picked up a few years ago.. The motor blew in my WJ and im looking for a XJ. I also know Justin and used to wheel with this jeep back in like 2002 or 2003.
i did it for 4.56s on my 8.25 Worked fine for several thousand miles and tons of trips. I actually had to shave a tad off of two teeth, it all depends on how you bolt up the ring gear to the carrier.
you have them backwards. I bought a cylinder and keys from autozone last saturday $11.99 brand new. Dont even both with used ones. The electronic switch is more expensive and is behind the lock cylinder.
ill trade you a boat.. i got a family style bowrider/ski boat. and im in acworth, so im super close. runs good, had it out this past summer. just bought a nice chapparal, so this one has to go..

I installed a mechanical tranny temp gauge in my 97 XJ using the factory hole right near the dipstick and and NSS nearest the outlet line. Just drivng around town today the temps got to 210 on average and 230 when climbing a hill. This is a stock XJ, no lift, no tires, not towing anything. Is...

I just put a 97 XJ console and 2-door buckets in my MJ. Worked like a charm and fit perfect. Even some of the screw holes for the old console fit. It was sweet. Now I have cup holders, storage, and an armrest.
