will an AW4 from a 1990 cherokee 4 liter fit into a 1993 cherokee 4 liter? the 93 is high output i believe so i didnt know if there would be problems. i sold mine to a guy with a 93 and he said that it went fast in reverse but slow in forward. the tranny was good in my jeep. thanks for any info.

on the 4.0 on the valve cover there are two hoses, one being the crankcase vent tube. what is the one located in the back, it looks to just be a round piece with a vaccum line going into it...what is it and where can i get it? also, is the CCV a dealer item because i can't seem to find anyone...

ok, so the dexron II ATF is ok for the t-case?? and which oil for my axles? 75-90 with the additive from the dealer. 75-140 or 85 140 synthethic or synthethic blend.....do i use the same oil for front and rear?? and i am assuming it is grade 5 gear oil??? also, on my axles, is there a drain...

also, how do i check my t-case fluid and fill it??

i just looked at it, the cover to the axle is round with no flat spots around the edge...but how do i know about the limited slip or what have you...and i am assuming my front is a dana 30....so i am sti unsure as to which fluids....sorry, i know it was said above but i want to make certain as...

in my factory service manual, it suggests dexron-II ATF for the tranny and t-case. but, it says different amounts for different models (model 207...4.5 pts, model 208...6.0 pts, model 228...7.0 pts, and model 229...6.0 pts.) does anyone know what this is or how i can tell which is mine...also...

i think my transfer case is 242...it has 2wd, 4wd part time, 4wd hi, and 4 lo...as for my axle, i have NO idea which one i have, front or rear. thanks.
