What's up guys. I'm Mark from Snohomish, working on taking the 4.0HO outta my 95 XJ to throw in the 94 ZJ. It's getting an IRO 3.5" lift to DD. Then I'm building a 4.6 or 4.7 stroker for the XJ and putting her on 35's. I'm thinking about the TNT Y-Link, but I'm not sure yet. I have usually just...
The 231 in my '95 sounded like a gabage diposal so I got another from Pull a Part out of a '91. The speed sensor plug on the '91 case is different, so I swapped in the one from my '95 case. Got her swapped out today and now I have no speedometer and a check engine light. She works sweet now...
If I had a hundred gallons of bondo and a hefty amphetamine habit I might be down for going all the way. But I have neither, so I just planned on the M on the hood and 5's on the doors for the XJ. Besides, I paid too much for the ZJ to actually go painting Batman logos on it.
I'm worried someone will take my kick ass idea before I get it done, but I guess I'll let you guys in on what I got planned.
That's what I've got to work with.
I have never seen this done anywhere. I was gonna go Batmobile with my old ZJ, but she's dead for now.
Yeah, I didn't really wanna do the swap, but I was looking at a parts rig for my grand that happened to have a 242. Maybe I'll just rob the 231 out of my dead 94 Grand Cherokee since it seems like I like my XJ a little better.
My 231 in my 95/AW4 makes horrible grinding popping noises when put into 4 wheel and I can get a good deal on a 242 out of a 98 grand cherokee. Will it bolt right up as long as it's the same spline count?
