XJ Cooling System Deficiencies & Solutions

I have a 96 (auto and A/C) with the 10-blade (straight blade design) electric fan that needs replacing. I see that the ones listed (Team Cherokee and RockAuto) for my year are 6-blade design and the '97+ 10-blade has curved blades. I understand that the '96 is a weird tweener year, with a...

XJ Cooling System Deficiencies & Solutions

Tool recommendation. Check out the Lisle Spill Free Funnel. http://www.amazon.com/Lisle-24610-Spill-Free-Funnel/dp/B001A4EAV0 It attaches like a radiator cap and provides a new high point in the system. I found it helpful for burping the system.

How long do the stock injectors typically last?

No, this was not. But thanks for the false accusation. I have no affiliation with this or any other fuel injection cleaning business - or any other automotive service for that matter. I'm not even sure how you picked up from my post that I might be associated with it. But for the effort...

How long do the stock injectors typically last?

. . .or you can have them professionally serviced. They can then tell you if the individual injectors need to be replaced. Another forum recommended http://www.cruzinperformance.com. You might give him (or a similar shop) a call and see what they can do for you. For an explanation of their...

    Steering brace...

Resurrecting this thread. My XJ has a BPI Trail Tuff front bumper that uses the forward holes (3 on side, 1 on bottom of "frame") for mounting. Will that interfere with the mounting of the reinforcements such as JKS, TnT, C-ROK? Thanks, David
