I just did this job on one of my rear passenger doors of my '87. Here are some part numbers that may help:
1984-1996 Front Door Division Bar Glass Run – 55002337
1984-1996 Rear Door Division Bar Glass Run – 55005666
1984-1996 Front Door Glass Wipe (Outer Belt Seal) – 55135206

I understand the 93-98ZJ Steering Box and the '99 Durango V8 4X4 boxes are upgrades for the XJ. Does anyone know if there are any big reasons one is better than the other? Does one have quicker ratio, better turning radius, different plumbing, etc. over the other?
I built this out of 1/2" flat stock and did some simple bends in the vice to give me strength and places to mount. One point of contact on front bumper, one using existing bolt on my light bar, and a third short piece was tack welded to the main bar, it bends under the hood and attaches to the...
Mine is mounted behind the drivers side front quarter panel. You have to take the panel off to do it, but once it's mounted it's out of the way utilizing wasted space.
I ran the 2670 2-row for a month and it was miserable. I was constantly running hot, in the Summer, dangerously hot. If you are going to do it, spend a few extra $$ on the 2671 and get the 3rd row.
I had terrible cooling problems when I swapped in a CSF 2-row, so sent it back and ended up trying this all aluminum 3-row from Auto Dynasty on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JVC0SYQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I have been running it for over 6 months now and so...
I had this recently with my 1987. It turned out to be the junction where the factory hose was crimped to factory piping right before the heater core. Slow drip that burned off on the engine.
If you've ever thought about replacing your steering box now's the time to do it.
You already mentioned upper control arm bushings, but might as well do the lowers as well. They are easier to replace when you can get your whole body in the engine bay.
I had a similar situation with my 87 stalling and then restarting after a half-hour to hour. Turned out to be the fuel sending unit. Don't know what was wrong with it, but when the mechanic replaced it, problem disappeared.
For anyone who is interested, aerotanks.com offers a 30 Gal tank for 84-96 XJ's for $667 including skid plate. Doesn't look as nice as the Genright but will save you a few bucks. Stock number is CWS-30.
Mine is mounted behind the drivers side quarter panel with an air outlet coming through to the engine bay. It's a tight fit, don't think it would work for those with trimmed fenders.
