I checked for loose/ missing bolts.... I barrowed a set of chassis ears and hooked them up to my jeep.... Thats how i came to the conclusion that it is the T case.... So what would be my best bet, can I just replace this chain or do i need to do a complete rebuilld?

Hey All, I got some noise coming from my transfer case it sounds like a sprag or a Chain slap happens right after a stop and medium to heavy acceleration... I changed the T case fluid and it seemed to help a little. anyone have the same problem? What would my best bet be? rebuilt the whole...

180 degrees from that hole is another hole..... any other way of getting the pinion shaft out with the bolt sheard or should i get a new carrier?

ok So where that hole is in the picture there is suposed to be a 1/4' hex bolt?? all i see is a pin..... possibly the previous owner did a hack job fix?

I GOT A DANA 35 BOLT IN AXLE IM TRYING TO REMOVE THE SPYDER GEARS AND I CANT GET THE PIN OUT THAT HOLDS IN THE CROSS SHAFT... IS THAT PIN THREADED OR WILL IT JUST PUNCH OUT?

i got a D35 in my jeep it is making some nastey sounds i believe the carrier is going out. I plan to replace the whole rear end with a D44 My question is will a D44 bolt up to everything? Is the yoke the same? Will i have to mess with the driveshaft any? I appreciate any help :chef:
