    dash\park light ?

DARKFLY I'm having the exact problem your having. My Cherokee is a 1988. Did you find a solution. My fuse will last about 10 mins before it blows. I really need to fix this before I head to MOAB. I was thinking of driving in the evening. I believe my tail lights will still work. Thanks,

    Fast Idle After Mod

I just had a similar problem with the exception that my idle RPM was about 2000 and I did not put on the K&N mod. Simply put, the stepper motor may still have black soot on it. This was my problem. I pulled out the motor from the side of the throttle body and cleaned it. It runs about 400...

Mounting rear tow hooks on XJ

Problem of rear tow hooks resolved. Ok, so I took the XJ to LAYTON trucks here in the Springs and had them mount a class III hitch to it. They also put on the gas tank skid plate. They said it was difficult to get the hitch mounted and the stock skid plate. They're not made to bolt up...

Mounting rear tow hooks on XJ

sidriptide, w_howey, Good info, thanks. I guess I'll go see about the nut strip to support the gas skid plate. I was thinking of just getting out the welding torch and having at it :) Guess I'll start looking into a rear bumper. Thanks again. I'll go to the other fourm and check out the...

Mounting rear tow hooks on XJ

I do agree that the metal is then and would be concerned. I need to see what the steal strap looks like and how to mount it to the frame rail. The more I look at this the more I find myself looking at just takin the hit and getting a rear bumper with what I need.

Mounting rear tow hooks on XJ

Hello Eagle, I was afraid that the nut strip was going to be a problem. Still how the heck do up put nuts in a closed up/end frame. I think I'm going to look into a hitch or bumper that has the hitch. Thanks,

Mounting rear tow hooks on XJ

lobsterdmb: I will try to get the OEM part #52000712 from the dealer. Thanks everyone! One more thing, what bumper (lower-cost) is the best deal when I go with the bumper. My front has the ARB bull bar.

Mounting rear tow hooks on XJ

IntrepidXJ, raceready, Static-XJ, Thanks for the input. So... from what you have all stated, the best route for the moment is to get the OEM brackets, or have a bumper put on with a hitch. Will the hitch setup pass the inspection at the rally in MOAB. Because of the cost I think I will...
