was going though readers rigs and noticed no one says anything about sye kits on there rigs. is it just a givin? guys running 4-8 " lifts. got a 98xj and wanted to go with re 4.5 but dont know about yall, but i dont have the extra 500 plus for a sye kit.:dunno:

I just bought my wife a 04 grand cherokee limited. very nice truck, but they dont make hardly any after market goodies for it. theres a big gap from 98 to 05 you cant find much of anything. dont want to go crazy with it . but no lifts for it just found 2" coil spacers and thats it.:dunno:

havent had time to mess with yet, drivin wifes xj I cut hood louvers in mine just recently. if i cant get trany shifting going to get rid of it and get somthing newer. runs good just not worth dumping $ into it.

I went though some deep water the other night we had all the rain. wasnt that deep, but now it wont shift out of 1st.2nd thread. only responce i got was change fluid and filter. really dont see how that will help. fluid looks good.looked under tranny to see if some thing came loose. but nothing...

last night we had the rain storm,and had to go to work to pump water out of apts. well I ran though some deep water- not that deep but then tranny wont shift out of 1st or2nd cant tell. 89 xj 200k . should i just shoot ithasta and call it good?( help )work truck

Well I spent over 3 hours cutting louvers in my hood. came out ok, truck stays cooler. dont know if id do it on a nice rig. I would post pics, but it wont let me. maybe havent been a member long enough. really wanted to show them off. worked hard on em.:smsoap:

got a 89 xj got 208k on it. problem i have is, you can drive it (no matter how long or short) after you let it sit for even a few minutes and start it and take off and slow down for like a speed bump it dies. idle drops bad and rough. but if you start it and let it run for a minute or so it's...

Is there any other make, chevy etc. wheels that will fit the xj. and did the xj ever come with 16" rims. reason im asking is I have a set of 31" bfg mt"s from another rig I had, but there 16"s. just lookin for some stock wheels that look better for now.

well I got a 100 bucks of rust. after takin a real good look at the 89xj i got. dont think i will do too much to this one. runs great and all but floors are shot leaf mounts are not good. guess ill keep it for work and then find a better one. shit happens:gonnablow

wasnt realy worried about rust, it's got some every where. went to take rear bumper off and just twisted some brackets off. the body is not bad
