i did read that alot of the oem aftermarket ones are missing this hole. some say the premium thermostats have them. good to know. just have to straighten my unibody out before i get back to mundane radiator stuff.

I aint an expert but im sure not an idiot. i know this thing will be totaled, i will try and buy it back. any tips on how to avoid salvage title? here are some pics, my worry is how to fix that bendage in the front drivers frame rail.

Hi all. I just got hit head on drivers side, and the frame rail where the steering box mounts was bent about 15-20 deg. (guess) rightward. I knew this before looking because the vehicle tracked straight without pulling after i drove it home, but the steering was off center. Maybe there is more...

Put some new motor mounts on a few months ago. New NAPA OEM part. Seems like the passenger side is taking more weight as the bushing looks squeezed more than it should. Could it be a bad tranny mount or something somewhere else? Maybe should I loosen the MM bolts and re align it?:dunno:

On the '97 XJ is it necessary to burp the radiator? I've read that it isn't but just want to confirm. Also will this system purge itself of air automatically in park or at idle? I was thinking of putting the drivers side front on a ramp or parking on a steep incline? Thanks in advance.
