Forgot to mention the instrument cluster gauges are Unresponsive the vehicle has electricity I can play the radio but None the the battery or oil pressure gauges are responsive this started Wednesday.

SPECFab can you better explain the Taurus fan scenario I told my buddy about that he helps me install all my new parts and he thinks I'm nuts is this the electric fan from the Taurus or the actual motor mounted fan does it just screw in there? Why a Taurus fan?

OK so I am gonna get my radiator serviced and swap to a Taurus fan with an e timer, flush the coolant, add waterwetter. And Hopefully this will help me cool off on the trails. What year Taurus fan should I go with???

not since I bought it back in summer of 2012 so Not since I have owned it. And I'm sure that the mud and dirt that gets in there when I'm wheeling doesn't help at all lol
2000 Cherokee sport 143 rounds Idk if its open or closed what do you mean by that? The stock fan does run and it only gets hot when I am on the trails and doesn't like to turn back on if I turn it off when I'm on the trails.
I have heard of the heat soak before and I did Change the thermostat my coolant is decent I am running champion spark plugs. I think it is time for an upgraded fan. Thank you!!
My Xj stays between 185-186.8 F driving normally. However when I hit the trails and I'm in 4 lo sometimes I get as high as 230 F and if I turn my vehicle off it doesn't like to start up. Someone suggested a different fan from a Ford Taurus, another suggested hood loovers. Both good ideas but...

The almost alloy is to prevent breakage from abuse, not to prevent excessive wear. If you are running Spicer u-joints now, and not breaking them, you don't need to install this mod.
Buy Spicer u-joints.
