I’m having a strange issue with my xj. Six weeks ago frame stiffeners were welded to the jeep at local shop. A rough idle was immediately noticed. A mechanic I took the vehicle to corrected a vacuum leak and I thought the problem had been rectified. Then while offroading, the idling problem...

I just installed OME coils. The amount of lift I ended up with was spot on with what OME specifies for those coils.

On the topic of strenghening/stiffening the rear....in addition to a good trailer hitch or the right bumper, a gas tank slid that ties into the frame should help too.

I have the jcr fronts and mids on my rig. From what I've researched the rears are not so important especially if you have some other implement that acts as a cross member such as a class 3 hitch, which I have. As noted above the jcr stiffeners are quality products.

Update for anyone researching coils...the OME 2930 coils went on my jeep today. Jhad to address my bumpstops so I figured may as well update and upgrade the springs while I had things apart. With one extra coil spring isolator on each side of the front I ended up with 2.25 inches lift.. The...

Well, I encountered about 4 reviews complaining about unacceptable amounts of sag. I have no idea how objective or accurate they are. I just felt more comfortable with the high dollar old man emus. Past experience has thought me that often times cheap car parts and tools are just too expensive...

Thanks. It's really hard reading internet reviews of a product to know how objective and accurate the reviewer is. But I read enough negative reviews of the moog to compel me to order a pair of old man emu coils. I am going to send the moogs back. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
