Double Jeep (more like 1.5 Jeeps)

I am asking $2500 and am motivated to sell. Preference is to sell the Jeep with the trailer... Below is the body of my CL ad, photos available there. ( http://denver.craigslist.org/cto/4523567379.html ) I am moving out of state and am selling my 1987 Jeep Cherokee along with my "home built"...

    [NOT] Stolen Rigs

I have been hearing about a lot of Jeeps being stolen as of the last year or two and have been growing more concerned for my own... For those who haven't had your rig stolen (or those who have made changes to keep theirs from being stolen again), what have you done to make it more difficult for...

    MJ Home Built Trailer Thread

Yeah, I picked up a half ton of road base on my way home from licensing it... The trailer sits really high until you add 1/2 ton, then it rides low. :D It pulled just fine both empty and loaded...

    MJ Home Built Trailer Thread

At Yella's suggestion :wave1: I am posting how I managed to get my MJ bed / converted home made trailer licensed. This January a new law went into effect that requires a "Road Worthiness Inspection" for all home-built trailers. I bought Troy's MJ Long bed from a scrapped MJ to convert into an...

airsoft bb's enough to counter 12oz imbalance?

So here's my status: The Airsoft BBs took the vibes from a pain level of 10 to between 1-2. There are still vibes, but the BBs are definitely helping a ton! I was sceptical to say the least, but $9 worth of .12g BBs have done enough that I can now drive above 45mph and have driven...

airsoft bb's enough to counter 12oz imbalance?

So I am running 32-12.50/15 Super Swamper TSL radials and one needs 12oz of lead to balance out (according to my local tire shop), that is too much to attach so I am stuck driving with a bouncing basketball. I am curious whether airsoft bb's could balance this out and if so how much do I put...

Bought a set of tires from Ryan, they were in better shape than he described, the price was great and he is a stand-up guy to deal with. Would do business with him again, no question about it.

    '60s M101 Trailer in Elizabeth

I am thinking the M416 would be a better trailer for pulling with an XJ, the M101 would be usable but quite a load offroad. I am trying to figure out a way to put a PTO on the XJ so I can run hydraulic lines back to that MJ bed and put that axle to work for me :roflmao:.

    '60s M101 Trailer in Elizabeth

Yeah, it has a lunette. The original jack is missing, the guy has a conventional hand-crank trailer jack on the tongue rail.

    '60s M101 Trailer in Elizabeth

I am no longer looking for one of these and one pops up for sale in my neighborhood... figures... :) I stopped and did a walk around, the trailer itself is in good shape, needs a new tire (may only need a patch job) on the right side. The guy that owns it wants $1000. It has a flat-4 connector...

    Parting out: '96 2dr

Would that gas tank fit under an '87 with the stock skid plate? If so, I'd be interested... I think mine has a crack on top.
