i had the 6.5 inch lift and ran the piss out of it for years finally the leaves and track bar gave up the ghost. it was on my jeep when I bought it. it worked is it the best no its not but it does work
i have a 92 xj with a 96 booster and a 99 durango master dana 44 rear drum added mid 80s dodge 1 ton wheel cylinders and can lock them up no prob on 35s
youll need a spray gun i used the 20 dollar job from harbor freight. i also did clear coat on it if it lasts 3-5 years im doing good i think
plus all said i got 150 into it
ok so i have rustys inverted t steering and want to drill out the tie rod to accept heims since they are 11/16 would drilling out to put a 3/4 heim in be ok? then trash the drag link and run a new one over to the knuckle. kinda like the rock krawler style?
I am running a yj style shackle conversion kit and love it! but the lii sliders were a toss up i just went with something that i know if i break its easy to find parts out in the middle of nowhere
i just need to turn one joint out two or so turns would leaving it on the ground be a huge deal, or would it be poss. and still leave the other side bolted up so the axle doesnt rotate
