Thanks for the reply, I ran across this thread and like every one else thought it was a cool idea. I like the cleanness of it. I would not use the winch that much. Maybe once a year if that. and did not want to put a Billy bad a** bumper on it . I kinda favor the stock look, but Im looking...

First things first. This isn't the greatest XJ I have ever layed eyes on.
I got it used from a vollenter fire dept. Dirt cheap. It will over heat ( spew water everwhere) if it revs over 3000 rpms( bad expation bottle now fixed) . when I got it home the first day it blew the lower rad hase...
the guy at Radiator.com told me that GDI bought Modine. so it would be the same one. I want more cooling surface so I'm opting for the 3 row not 2.

I have forced water in with a water hose and still. Matter of fact I did that the day I made the changes... Hmmm
Just check it after a a short trip and all the water is still there.

but it's only been 2 days since the last fixes. and I had to add more water to it this morning.

I have a 90 cherokee also and it runs at 210 all the time. Im to am working on fixing the high temp problem, replaced the thermostat, water pump, hoses, expantion bottle. Im going to order a 3 row radiator from radiator.com for 187.12 to my door. My xj needs some motor work. I plan on replacing...
