I am asking $1200 for my little red 2 door with a 44 in back.... I am including a dana 35 from my wrangler (spring perches need to be flipped) with the same gear ratio if you are interested in just the axle and having a stock xj or selling it or whatever... I am driving it everywhere right now...

up until today I had 33/12.50s, 15x8" wheels/3.5" backspacing with about negative 1" lift (old stock springs + all my tools & junk)..... my front fenders are cut pretty dramatically and I bashed the wheel wells all flat and tire friendly- in the rear I cut about an inch above the pinch welds all...

just got my 33's [up from 30's] on the ol stock height xj [the fenders went anorexic] and today was trying to get a rough idea of how far out the speedo is now... so i went 20 miles down the highway and marked the odo with each milemarker and it came out like this MM ODO 164...

do you know waht kind of cam/pistons and what c/r you have? i've got marine 350 sitting round that i've been tempted to drop in my cj7, but i wanted to get an idea of the internals first.... supposed to be much stronger than the street version

so what your saying is that my axle is bent ? btw the bearings are fine. or do you think offset bjoints are just how some shops can try to extract that extra thousand dollars? i took my jeep in with 'brand new' bjoints that i'd installed myself and they said cambers off 'on that side'.....

ooh when i saw the pictures i wondered what lift came with new ball joints, brakes, u joints, tre's... btw your build is 'almost' complete... where's the rack or swinging bumper for your spare?, it's almost shameful to see such a nice rig with ratchet straps holding the tire down

hey rich, if you happen to read this, the coil adjusters for those ricers are not acos, they're much cheaper and they fit mcpherson struts

miller 135 110volt mig welder for anything and everything (car related at least) you could also consider using your stick welder for the 1/4" - 11ga and the mig on the rest, or maybe just grinding slight angles at your joints and doing realllly slow and hot root welds and then maybe covering...

the welds look strong enough, but they just need that finishing touch- the grinder! grind em flat, paint em with some hammered finish rustoleum and you won't even know they were welded at all:D nice work man, and that $350xj looks like a steal! sorry, bad joke....
