Transmission cooler line seal Part ID

If the end of the line that the fitting fell apart on you is at the transmission, you can google Dorman 800-714. These are the fittings that go between the trans and the line... Now may be a good time to get away from using these QC/QD fittings.

    PDC Fuse 16

Thanks for the comment... You are absolutely right... I see the TCM hanging off M1 as well... That's actually why I asked the question as I feel there wouldn't be problems if I pulled the fuse just for a few interior lights... I pulled the Underhood Lamp already and that didn't fix it... Had...

    PDC Fuse 16

1998 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4.0 AW4 This is a question I have about a short I see across my battery terminals. I'm working through a full refit on my XJ. Pretty much stripped it out, sand-blasted most everything, replaced floors, rockers, and other ancillary welding. Pretty much all painted and...

    98 XJ Sport 4.0 AW4, Trans Line Convert PTFE-6AN

OK, thank you RCP. I think I see the difference. Your radiator allowed you to remove the top connector and replace it. My OE radiator does not. I'll probably just re-use the OR hardline for the return till the radiator needs replacing.

    98 XJ Sport 4.0 AW4, Trans Line Convert PTFE-6AN

I ask about the cooler because it look's like a Hayden 678 or 679. What adapters did you use to get the AN connectors on the hose barbs these come with? Thanks Again!!

    98 XJ Sport 4.0 AW4, Trans Line Convert PTFE-6AN

Thanks for the follow up RCP... I am planning to use the '3/8 EFI SAE Female with the threaded collar for the lower radiator connection. I looked through the 'Fittings & Hoses/Universal Fittings' search tool on Summit's web site and was not able to find an adapter with a 5/8"-18 45* SAE Flare...

    Rator Liner Project

That looks very good.... I'm curious about the black 2 stage primer from Axis coatings. I've used Chassis Saver underneath Monstaliner. Do you know if the 2 stage Axis Primer offers an advantage?

    98 XJ Sport 4.0 AW4, Trans Line Convert PTFE-6AN

Thank you RCP Phx. I know there had to be a thread out there somewhere... The specific thread size of the radiator top transmission cooling port is 5/8"-18 45degree SAE Flare. This is not an NPT thread and I've found little hope in finding a small footprint adapter to bring this directly to...

    98 XJ Sport 4.0 AW4, Trans Line Convert PTFE-6AN

I've tried searching the forums and have not been able to find an answer: I am looking to convert to 6AN PTFE stainless braid hose for my transmission cooling lines. I believe the brass fitting protruding at the top of the stock radiator (return to trans) is not removable as it may have been...
