    I've got a bent axleshaft in my d44 (rear) and I'm wanting to expand my search since xj44's are few and far-between and new axleshafts run nearly 200$, will a zj44 axleshaft fit in my 44? they seem to be alot more common the pass side is the bent one, (the long one 29.75")

    WFO= wide fuckin' open this is a far reach but check the PCV stuff on top of the valve cover make sure its not popped out, and try taking the hose off the brake booster and plugging it another far reach but maybe the brake booster is doing something funky and lettin loose makin your truck rev?

    i tried acetone in my 89 comanche 4.0L and the mileage did NOT change. i was running 3-4oz per tank IIRC (its been a while that figure could be wayyy off) i did one tank no acetone, one tank acetone, and alternated like that for about 10 tanks. no change

    to the guy running reline synthetic, are you running a synthetic gear oil or a synthetic motor oil? i've heard something about running regular 10w30 in them so i wasn't sure whether you meant 90w or motor oil

    long arms ride better because they are more parallel to the ground, so when you hit a bump the arm goes up instead of getting jabbed into the frame-rail like it would with 6" and shortarms

    brother's been wheeling 35s on a 30spline chromo-d 30 for a while, only thing we've noticed is wheel bearings don't last forever on the road. a warn hub kit would go a long ways... or possibly just quality replacements (timken) instead of cheap ones
