Because Im out of ideas so its a matter of just blindly replacing things.

I think Ill replace the WP this week sometime and flush the radiator while im at it and see what happens. Ill probably tackle it on the weekend.

im confused..should i be surprised if i do have a thermostat or dont? The wording sounds like i shouldnt be surprised if I have a tstat because it slows the flow. Is that correct?

well i just pulled the tstat and plugged everything back up. The XJ is way too cool. It wont rise to 210. I also swapped out relays with the fuel pump and no difference. I was going to drill the holse in the tstat, but the damn bit broke :mad: so I decided to see how it would work with none...

where is the temp sensor for the fan located?

Not sure when the WP was last replaced. I havent ran anything through the radiator either. Ive been looking for leaks but dont see anything to be concerned about.

Well I just replaced the fan clutch and its still overheating. Guess that's ruled out now.

Ive spun the clutch. it doesn't spin a full rotation, but it is a bit easy to spin.

i can do that for now, but I dont wanna band-aid it. I would like to fix the problem.

the a/c does work. I just dont use it much.

well, it does come on with the a/c.

hard wire it to what?
